The Pottruff Family Foundation is a family-run organization based in Uxbridge, Ontario. Our giving takes its lead from local causes that touch our hearts. Like addressing food scarcity, supporting equitable youth education and advancement, mental illness relief, and expedited health solutions. 

We donate to organizations who, like us, are modestly sized and with whom we can have an impact – where $10,000 is a meaningful contribution toward goals.   

The less common – and considerably larger – donations are usually very personal for us. Often, they are legacies to a lost loved one through support of an institution or a cause that figured importantly in their life or their end-of-life. 

The catalyst for the Foundation? After an entrepreneurial career, Gary Pottruff’s retirement in 2009 opened the door to pursue his life-long passion for giving.
